More About Me
If I could describe myself in just one word.....I would. People say I'm not very bright, but let me tell you, I am well able to put 2 and 2 together, and come up with 22. I once tried to book an audience seat on Oprah, much to my disappointment, I somehow ended up at a show that didn't end until a fat lady sang. I was once told at U.S customs, that they didn't believe I was Irish. So they threatened me with a cavity search. When I opened my mouth and went AAAAAAAH! That convinced them.
Look I'll be honest here. I'm not looking for a hook up or a one night stand. If the following sounds soppy then so be it. I'm looking for companionship, I'm looking for someone to love, to take care of. I'm sure you are more than capable of taking care of yourself. But I have a lot of love to offer, so if you don't mind receiving it in the ways that matter (to me) tenderness, attentiveness, then so much the better.
I can't promise you that I will have you laughing all the time, perhaps just some of the time. I can't promise you that I will shower you with expensive gifts. But what I can promise you, is a hungry heart. What does that mean? It means a heart that isn't happy to simply burn for one. This will manifest in a myriad of different ways. From holding you tight as we watch TV together, in such a way that lets you know you are at the centre of my world at that moment. Running my fingers through your hair, as you drift to sleep on my shoulder. Sharing in your burdens, even if all you want is for me to quietly listen.
All of this of course, will come in time. But it's what awaits you, if we are right for one another. Because I believe it's the little things that matter, and it's the little things which aren't really little at all, in a relationship.
Maybe that makes me sound like a soppy git, I dunno. But I don't believe in using cheesy lines, or in talking myself up. I think it best to wear my heart on my sleeve, right where you can see it.
More About My Match
Not exactly sure to tell you the truth. I'll know what I am looking for, when I find it.
