You could start by telling us about your ferrets. How many do you have? Are they grown up, or still living at home?
Yes, do! And I still want to know if they're edible.
I hope you are living in overcrowded conditions, Will they ever leave the nest ?
According to your profile, you know how to dress a hog. I imagine getting it to stay still is the hardest part.
Hoober, you're sharp!
Based on the comments, I may have found MY PEOPLE!1. I no longer have ferrets. I had up to 4 at a time. We, meaning family, began co-habitating with the little devils in 1986 when my eldest son brought one home from the pet store. A common saying amongst Ferret folks is, "They're like chips, you can't have just one".2. Yes, they're edible. Survival 101, almost all reptiles and ALL mammals can be eaten by humans.3. Overcrowed conditions? In what context? Us, the ferrets, The Malthusian theory of overpopulation, What?4. No, actually, picking the right undergarments is the hardest part. Sweet words and Jack Daniels makes them very pliable.5. Questions answered.
Well answered, FD, welcome aboard. That one's for the hog.
Tomorrow is busy. Painters coming by to finish the parts they missed or did half-a**. Headed up into central Fl to look at a few acres for a weekend retreat. Then hanging new industrial style pendant lamps in the arch over the sidewalk. Soon the house will be back up to standard and I'll have most of the things done we'd planned to do before shortstack got sick. ( Shortstack was a term of endearment for my late wife, 4'11" tall )
Oy Vay! Gonna be a 2 hr job they said. It'll be easy, they said. Nope. Two hrs before sunset, and all I'd gotten done was unpack and verify all the parts were there, measure the drop to midway in the arch opening so the light would be centered, cut the cords and fudge the length a bit in case of oopsies, cut the chains, thread the cords thru the chains, spray penetrating oil on the rusted mounts in the electrical box and wait for it to work. And finally a dry run of putting it together, to make sure of sequence.
My street name is Midnight Delight.

HerretDad,I viewed your profile just to see what was being laughed at.I didn't anything read anything so comical to laugh at.I did read about the passing of each your wife or wives. Couldn't figure see what some were laughing at.So sorry for your loses.
Hi Bearwoman The part about him n his deceased wives didn't come in the pictures till a few comments had already passed.
Didn't know, either until now
OK Ferret, I think you'll make it in the shark tank. Hoober already said what I would have said had he not said it first, so no point repeating. Just copy and paste his comment in here. Do you know how to copy & paste? It is a required basic skill if you want to blog here on CS.
Excuse hoober s nterest in ferrets it's a well know fact that every Yorkshire lad has a ferret or two down his pants
Yep, been computer literate since I started building them from the frames up in 1987, remember DOS? I do plagarize from time to time, but I also give credit. I come from a family of artists. My late sister was what's known as a "found" artist. worked in every medium possible. Used trash to make beautiful pieces. I try to use words to paint a mental picture. In my family, I'm known as a storyteller, and o*al historian.
Well Howdy neighbor I see you live in my neck of the woods, I'm very near Lutz. Welcome to the blogs, hope you have good luck on CS. Just so you know it sure helps to have thick skin when you blog because some people can be pretty abrasive and some get their feathers ruffled all to easy but for the most part this place is great for blogging....not so much for snagging a date.I to am very sorry for your losses.
Thanks Unfayzed. I've learned over the years to simply ignore those who need a reaction/attention to feed their need. Mainly, right now, this minute I'd like to find an activity partner for, comedy clubs, museums, perhaps some of the experimental stuff at the Straz. I've always enjoyed community theater.
I was just talking to my brother yesterday about us needing to schedule a trip to the Dali Museum in either St Pete or Sarasota, can't remember off hand. My bro, his wife (my BFF) and I drove to Orlando yesterday to see my Son's new house that he and his wife built. Sunday FUNday.I used to live in Orlando but moved to Tampa a little over a year ago to retire and be close to my folks.
